The pure doctrine of Christ is powerful. It changes the life of everyone who understands it and seeks to implement it in his or her life. The doctrine of Christ helps us find and stay on the covenant path. Staying on that narrow but well-defined path will ultimately qualify us to receive all that God has. Nothing could be worth more than all our Father has!

I don't think we truly understand the power of the doctrine of Jesus Christ, at least I don't really understand. I have an idea, I get glimpses, but I don't think we ever get a full picture of the magnitude in this mortal life.
So I don't know if it's a lack of complete trust in the gospel of Jesus Christ and what it can do... or if it's my pride keeping me from truly experiencing its full power (or at least some of it)...or if it's just pure laziness on my part for not putting in the necessary effort, that is keeping me from experimenting on the word of God and putting God's word to the test. It's probably a combination of all 3 keeping from that.
Time and time again, I hear this from prophets and apostles....over and over again.
It's about time I listen.
