November 12, 2020 - Name them one by one

According to noted psychologist Shawn Achor, it only take two minutes each day to rewire your brain, allowing your brain to actually work more optimistically and more successfully. The secret is to write down three things you're grateful for at the end of each day. Three new things each day for 21 days in a row. If you do this, Achor says, your brain starts to retain a pattern of scanning the world, not for the negative, but for the positive first.

We all know the hymn "Count Your Blessings". But how many of us actually do this frequently? Science says we can literally rewire the brain to think more positively and optimistically. And, counting the blessings from Heavenly Father every day will greatly enhance that positivity.

So, my thinking is that I will try this experiment for at least 21 days. I may even go longer. I will write them down daily in my electronic journal that I have.

If you want to do this, I recommend also recording or writing down your thoughts and impressions so that you visually notice how God is speaking to you as you focus on what He does for us every single day. I will do the same.
