A while back, I had an impression to learn and do family history work. I received another impression today. I was also guided to Elder Renlund's April 2018 General Conference talk. Then I came across the above quote by him.
I am starting to understand the blessings we receive when doing temple and family history work. Not just blessings either, but absolute power in our lives to overcome challenges, resist temptation, and flat out beat the adversary.
I am drawn to the word "healing". I need healing in my life. I'm sure we all do. But the healing I need is not only for the obvious physical struggles that I have, but other aspects of my life too. I long to be made whole.
So, I will trust the Lord Himself when He says, that I will receive healing. Maybe not in this life, but, nevertheless, it will come. What a marvelous thought and a powerful hope.
