A spiritual-minded man is observant of the beauty in the world around him. As the earth was organized, the Lord saw that “it was good.” Then, “It was very good.” It pleases our Father in Heaven when we, also, pause to note the beauty of our environment, which we will naturally do as we become more spiritually sensitive. Our awareness of grand music, literature, and sublime art is often a natural product of spiritual maturity. In poetic allusion to the theophany of Moses and the burning bush, Elizabeth Barrett Browning wrote, "Earth’s crammed with heaven, And every common bush afire with God; And only he who sees takes off his shoes."

Everything was created spiritually before it was created physically. Therefore, everything is a creation of God. And, knowing His loving nature, He loves every one of His creations. And, every creation was made for a reason. Sometimes, we don't know that reason.
During each phase of creation, God said "it was good". Not, "it was sufficient". The creation of the earth was GOOD. Good, to us, means "having desirable qualities", or "not bad". But, you have to think it means something more to God. He could've said, "it is awesome!". 😁
Anyway, I say this to remind all of us, mainly myself, to love ALL of God's creations, which include the proverbial roses that we should stop and smell. Also includes the resources at our disposal, and we have many.
I know one thing.... I love this country I live in, for many reasons. The freedoms, the beauty, the majesty, and the fact that this is a "land of promise".
I need to be better about showing that love.
