There is an exalting power in our empty tombs. I’m not sure why it works that way, but suffering seems to be necessary for the calling forth of all that is divine within us. It tends to make us more compassionate, forgiving, empathetic, kind, calm—all key qualities of our Father in Heaven.
S. Michael Wilcox, "What Seek Ye?", Deseret Book 2020
You know, I've said it before, that I'm blessed to be going through what I am going through. It's made me focus on more important things. It's made me rely more on Christ and His Atonement. It's turned me in the right direction.
I don't know where I'd be in life if not for Heavenly Father stepping in and straightening me out. I'm so thankful that He loves me enough to allow me these trials and challenges in my life.
I have a long ways to go and who knows. I hope He doesn't see fit to give me more to go through. 😬 But....I will be considering it a blessing if He did give me more. Granted, I may not like it, but I know it's eternally what I need.
