Our Savior and Redeemer, Jesus Christ, will perform some of His mightiest works between now and when He comes again. We will see miraculous indications that God the Father and His Son, Jesus Christ, preside over this Church in majesty and glory. But in coming days, it will not be possible to survive spiritually without the guiding, directing, comforting, and constant influence of the Holy Ghost.

I know I've mentioned this quote from President Nelson before but it's worth mentioning again.
The first thing that caught my attention is that we will see mighty, and I would venture to say even miraculous works by God and His Christ in these our days. That is absolutely amazing. We will see the hand of the Lord directing His work, both collectively for the church and personally. We will very well see miracles, if we are looking and if we are spiritually ready to see them. How wonderful.
And, the second thing that caught my attention is that we will not make it to our ultimate goal of eternal life without the personal revelation of God through the Holy Ghost. If we don't have him as a companion, we won't make it. Simple as that. It's a choice each one of us need to make if we are to make it.
It's comforting to know that Heavenly Father gave us everything we need to make it. We just need to take advantage and use those resources.
