If you are willing to pay the price for success, good things, even great things, can happen to you, even beyond your fondest dreams and expectations! Often we do not have even a glimpse of our potential for happiness and accomplishment in this life and in eternity because, as the Apostle Paul said, “Now we see through a glass, darkly.” But the lens can be lightened and become crystal clear through the influence of the Holy Ghost. The Savior promised us that the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, will “teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance,” and “guide you into all truth.”

Many times our lens that allows us to see life is tinted. It's like wearing sunglasses on a bright day. They shield our eyes from the light of the sun. Likewise, our spiritual lens is tinted to shield our eyes from the light of Christ, which can burn our eyes if we are not prepared for such light.
The Holy Ghost can prepare our eyes. Through Him, our lens becomes clearer. Otherwise, it becomes darker.
We all see things of the Spirit through varying degrees. For some, the lens is very clear. For others, the lens is very dark, very tinted. And yet for others, it is somewhere in between. But, unlike sunglasses, the tint on our lens is constantly changing....sometimes to be more clear, sometimes darker.
